Course Brief

Logic Development for Security

Programming logic built for security work — from flowcharts and data structures to Python scripting, sockets and automation.

Most security people stall at the same place: they can run a tool but cannot write one. This programme fixes that from the ground up, without assuming any prior coding.

You start with computational thinking, flowcharts and pseudocode, then variables, control flow, loops, arrays, dictionaries and functions — the structures every script you will ever write is made of — followed by the sorting and searching logic behind them.

The second half is applied: Python essentials for security scripting, regular expressions and string handling, file I/O for log processing, socket programming and network listeners, defensive coding with exception handling, and a final automation script you build yourself.
